What is League Of Acients?
HOROES
League of Ancients is eSports MOBA NFT game based on blockchain technology. Players can play for free and choose any of the 10 "Origin" heroes to use at the start of the game. Each heroes have one passive and three active skills. The heroes are categorized into 5 roles based on their utility in the game, which are Tank, Mage, Marksman, Support and Assassin.TANK
A "meat shield" whose primary role is to absorb incoming damage, disrupt the enemy team and protect their teammates from attacks. Tanks rely on their durability, high HP pool and engage potential to lead their team into battle and protect their allies.
MAGE
A practitioner of magic, who derives their power from supernatural sources. Mages are a force to be reckoned with. They specialize in controlling their enemies with disabling long range magic while unleashing powerful magic attacks to wreak havoc on the battlefield.
MARKSMAN
Marksman are ranged heroes who are extremely vulnerable but also extremely deadly. They attack from long range with a barrage of projectiles and if left unchecked, they can absolutely obliterate an enemy team in the blink of an eye.
ASSASSIN
Mastering the technique of stealth and/or mobility, Assassins are crucial to victory in the battlefield. A good Assassin will always target the most vulnerable enemies. Their mastery allows them to sneak passed the frontlines and eliminate key targets, escaping before the enemy team can react.
SUPPORT
When the odds are not in your favor, this hero class can turn the tides of war. Supports are equipped with special abilities to empower, heal and/or protect their allies. This provides utility that can turn the tide of the most difficult battles.
GAME MODE
Though it sounds simple, there are several layers of complexity to this. The map is vast and is focused around controlling lanes. Each lane leads to the opposing teams base and is guarded by endless waves of enemy minions and powerful turrets.
NORMAL MATCH
Normal Match is the first and earliest game mode in League of Ancients. All other game modes use the mechanics of Normal Matches as their base. It is an UNRANKED 5v5 PVP experience. This means that players do not lose rank titles if they did not win the game.
NFT MATCH
NFT Match is a competitive seasonal game mode that runs for a specific period of time. You will be competing with other players sharing your ranked division bracket. Players will have access to play all the 10 "Origin" heroes as long as they have a certain number of NFT skins at any rarity level.
TOURNAMENT
Tournament is a feature of the game that allows organizers to host in-game tournaments. It will be supervised by League of Ancients. Each participating team has to pay a registration fee, where 5% of the total registration fee collected will be for the tournament organizer to cover for the administration purpose. The teams will challenge each other for the total prize pool allocated for that specific tournament. Prize pool consists of $LOA tokens.
