World of Cryptoids we're building a massively multiplayer online game. A pokemon inspired metaverse world where players can breed, own, and monetize their Cryptoids using a variety of blockchain based tokens. $CAC will be the primary governance token and the game has been designed around being a sustainable Play to Earn blockchain game (sP2E). By fighting against other Cryptoids, players can earn token rewards and later on build their own Kingdom throughout the Land play ecosystem. World of Cryptoids gameplay is designed around a sustainable economy allowing players to invest in the game and receive sustainable rewards over a long period of time.

Problems in existing Play to Earn games

Video gaming is a booming billion-dollar industry that is expected to rise enormously in the next decade. With the advent of blockchain and play-to-earn gaming, we suddenly have the boundaries between leisure and profit-making activity slowly becoming combined.
In the current market, there are just not many video games that give players a chance to earn decent money without a huge upfront investment. Even then, once the initial characters are bought or money is invested, there is huge diminishing returns and one will slowly see the income dwindle over time due to oversaturation in the market and players farming more and more tokens causing a huge overflow of supply and a subsequent price crash.

What is Sustainable Play to Earn (sP2E)?

With the current driving entrance of metaverse and the so called GameFi world, a number of blockchain games have spawned which offers players a way to "earn" through participating in games and other quests in game. What we have realized is that this model is unsustainable and over time, the investors that initially bought characters such as Axie Infinity for breeding and/or farming SLP will over time witness a decrease in income.

What makes World of Cryptoids different?

Cryptoids offers a new take on Play to Earn called Sustainable P2E (sP2E) which offers players a way to earn back their ROI at a sustained rate rather than one that fluctuates based on a number of variables. We expect that this economy combined with our token distribution schedule will allow investors to be able to predict the average rate of income for their purchase over its lifetime. This not only allows players to earn at a comfortable level but is also a lot more forgiving to players over the lifetime of the game.

World of Cryotoids will include a few new token mechanics that will help to improve the in-game token economy. The core token that will be farmed is $CGC which will provide users with a steady source of income and thus our main price mechanisms will be centered around keeping the price of $CGC stable. We will do this through:

Burning of $CGC through breeding of new Cryptoids
$CAC used for breeding Cryptoids will also be used to purchase more $CGC for burning
Buy-back of tokens through WoC treasury funds
Capping of the number of Cryptoids available to be bred - this will not only limit the number of available Cryptoids on the market but will steadily increase the value of Cryptoids as more players join

MARKETPLACE

The marketplace is a core piece of the World of Cryptoids ecosystem. Users can buy, sell, and trade Cryptoids and CrypEggs through the marketplace. With the advent of low cost and high speed blockchains such as Binance Smart Chain(BSC) which we have implemented, this has allowed users to be able to trade and transfer their NFTs seamlessly between users accounts.

What's a Cryptoids?

Cryptoids are fantasy creatures that players can battle, collect, and breed. Each Cryptoid has different traits that determine their role in battle.

Stats:
Each Cryptoid has 4 stats, Health, Luck, Skill, and Speed. Here’s what they do.

HP - The amount of damage your Cryptoid can take before being knocked out.

Speed - Speed determines turn order. Faster Cryptoids attack first. If two Cryptoids have the same speed, this is how attack order is determined: High speed > Low HP > High Skill > High Luck > Low Fighter ID.

Skill - Skill adds damage when a Cryptoid plays multiple cards at once (combo).
Luck - Luck increases critical strike chance. It also makes entering Last Miracle more likely and adds more Last Miracle “ticks”. A Cryptoid has a chance to enter Last Miracle when a fatal blow is dealt to it, if it does, Last Miracle allows it to use a few more skills before it gets removed from the battle.

GAMEPLAY

BREEDING

Cryptoids can breed with each other to produce superior Cryptoids which share similar traits. In order to avoid hyperinflation and to sustain the game economy, the more times a Cryptoid has bred, the more expensive and thus harder it is to sustain the production. The maximum number of breeds will be capped at seven (7) per Cryptoid.
A combination of both $CAC and $CGC will be required in order to breed Cryptoids in addition to a pair of Cryptoids.

There's both dominant and recessive genes and each Cryptoid will have a chance of generating new and potentially rare traits each time one is bred.

ENERGY SYSTEM

Entering World of Cryptoids will grant each player an energy pool with twenty (20) energy points. The energy pool replenishes every 24 hours. Energy points will allow players to participate in completing daily quests and playing in the different game modes. Both Arena and Adventure game modes will use up 1 energy per match regardless of whether you win or lose, but there will be options to earn additional energy.

ECONOMY AND SUSTAINABILITY

Both CGC and CAC will have an extremely limited supply after the release of the pre-sale.
The development of new users requires reproduction. If users do not reproduce, only keep P2E, there will be a few CGCs circulating in the market, and it wouldn’t be easy to dump. Therefore, it is not easy to produce a dump situation before our Cryptoids are saturated.
There are two aspects to encourage more people to enter the market.
1. Our return cycle has advantages;
2. Our daily income has an advantage;

ADVENTURE

In this exciting game mode, a team of three Cryptoids will band together to defeat various monsters in different stages. Your team of Cryptoids start from level one and upon defeating the set of monsters they will receive a reward in $mCGC and unlock a new level.

As Cryptoids defeat stronger and harder bosses, they will start to level up and gain increased attributes (only the three you used to defeat the level). This makes farming and defeating these levels easier and easier, eventually leading to a very short time of completion. Be aware, higher levels of the World of Cryptoids Adventure mode are extremely challenging and players are cautioned against moving up the levels before being ready.

ARENA

The Arena promises to be an adrenaline rush for all players involved. Players form teams of Cryptoids to fight against other players and determine who is the Cryptoid master. In this exciting turn based action game, each player will need to use both skill and wit to determine when to use the right skills and at the right time. Players will be confined to similar rules as the Adventure mode and will have a limited number of energy to use each turn.

SEASON RANKING

How to Rank up
Players will participate in battles and receive trophies based on the results of those battles. Players will rank up after each win and down after each loss (MMR). ‌

Ranking auto-reset
Players' rankings will be reset at the start of a new season (one season lasts three months).
The reset will follow the rules:

Players from the Platinum rank and above will reset to the beginning of the Platinum rank (Tier 5).

Players with ranks below the Platinum will not be reset.

The purpose of this reset process is to give higher-ranked players more motivation to continue to rank up at the start of the new season. And players at lower ranks have the opportunities to access higher ranks since they'll continue where they left off.

Scholarships and Guilds

There will be significant gameplay built around leasing and hiring other gamers to help you power your Cryptoids through the challenges of the game.

One of the main features we've included is a Scholar management program where you can decide the number of mCGC to distribute to yourself and the manager. Additionally, the game has been designed with this program in mind and as such we have made it blockchain proof.

Scholars will be able to login via the web portal and farm mCGC on your account while you can sit back and breed Cryptoids all day.
